Your guide to a perfect Escape

Discover world-renowned whisky distilleries, historic towns and a breathtaking national park, all just a short drive away from Endrick Escape.

Day trips, hiking & more

Surrounded by rolling countryside, hills and a stones throw from Loch Lomond & The Trossachs National Park, you’ll be truly spoilt for choice at Endrick Escape.

Stroll on the loch shore at sunset. Hike up Conic Hill for unparalleled views before sunrise. Spend an afternoon fishing, bouldering, or kayaking – whatever your style, you’ll find something brilliant to do here.

This magical location, known as both The Devils Pulpit and Finnich Glen, is a beautiful gorge, cutting deep down into sandstone with a river running through. Little known until recently, TV shows such as Outlander have made this place a very popular tourist spot. Make sure you prepare beforehand though, as descending into the gorge can be tricky for some thanks to steep and rough pathways.

The Campsie Fells are a range of gently rolling hills providing an oasis of tranquillity hidden away from the hustle and bustle of modern life. A popular area for walking, the highest point of the range is Earl’s Seat which rises to 578m.

If you are looking for an adventure that will live with you and your Tribe forever, you’ve arrived at the right place. Go Ape Aberfoyle offers exhilarating and unrivalled outdoor activities only 15 minutes from the pods!

Local pubs, restaurants & distilleries

Our pods are perfect for those who want to explore and enjoy the excellent hospitality offered by our local pubs and restaurants, rather than face the grind of self-catering.

You’ll find plenty of local pubs and restaurants in nearby towns, such as our favourite The Kitchen Window and The Old Mill in Killearn, who offer some of Scotland’s finest produce. You can also find Scotland’s oldest licensed pub, The Clachan Inn, serving amazing food, located in beautiful Drymen.

Glengoyne is often described as Scotland’s most beautiful distillery. This traditional Highland distilery is open 7 days a week for guests to come and enjoy Whisky Tasting Experiences, Malt Master Session (where you create your very own whisky) and the superb whisky shop.
